A compass used by the hitler Youth to train mapreading skills.   The compass is marked 'Marschkompass' and 'DRP' with a styalised S on the exterior of the case.  This is an early example with a white bessel ring by Stockert & Sohn c.1938.  The strap does have some damage to the buttonhole as seen on the photo.  The interior has been stamped withthe owner's mark "Deutches Jungevolk fahnlein 19/122 Kirchburg" which would indicate this compass belonged to a DJ unit in Bann19,  Gefolgschaft 122.  This is a fine unmarked example still with its original leather strap.
